SPATIAL CONFLUENCES
The second edition of the Cirkulacija 2 program presents an audio-visual platform entitled Spatial
Confluences. Over two evenings, local and international artists will inhabit the gallery space in the form of a one-hour event, where experimental electronic sound is intertwined with live spatial video mapping. The
events bring together various artistic approaches that innovatively combine sound, moving image, space and technology into a poly-synchronized unit. The transdisciplinary project connects artists who research in the fields of sound design, creative programming, visual arts, with a special focus on the architecture of mutual expressive relationships and the use of technology. This includes the interweaving of physical and digital spaces, the integration of artistic expressions and content, and the development of new forms of interactions and partnerships. Live!
Cirkulacije 2 program is supported by MOL – Oddelek za kulturo.

Stella Ivšek is an intermedia artist who has been performing as a VJ (VJ 5237) on domestic and
international stages for many years. Her approach to VJing is based on live sound visualization with
generative elements and unique stage design. She is active on theater, concert and club stages. She has
performed at numerous domestic and international festivals with her original A/V installations and visual equipment, both independently and with the BEAM TEAM collective.
beepblip (Ida Hiršenfelder) is a sound artist and archivist with a master’s degree in sonology studies (Royal Conservatory of The Hague), who makes immersive bleepy psychogeographical soundscapes with analogue electronics, DIY and modular synths, field recordings and computer manipulations. Her main interests comprise sound ecology and sound spatialisation. She is a member of the Jata C group for bioacoustics and sound ecologies (2018–), the Clockwork Voltage community for modular synthesis, and the CENSE Central European Network for Sonic Ecologies.
Igor Stangliczky is a multidisciplinary artist working in the fields of sound art, digital graphics and hand-made design. He is constantly on the lookout for exciting sound textures. He often colors his soundscapes with processed field recordings and various electronic instruments. He is active in the electro-acoustic duo Ponton, where improvisation combines elements of ambient sound, noise and electronic experimentation.
Prince Lucija (aka Luka Prinčič, any pronoun) is a genderqueer artist with a nearly 30-year history of
electronic and computer music production, live performances, DJ sets, club nights, new media art,
workshops, performance art, techno-social research, activism, and advocacy within various autonomous-
tech groups. On their music releases and in live performances alike they unapologetically move from noise, industrial, and abstract sound, sound art, dark ambient and collage, to electro-funk, and other bassy
offshoots of syncopated post-electro.
Bostjan Čadež is a new media artist whose interdisciplinary practice explores the intersections of art,
technology, and human experience. His innovative installations and performances often challenge the
boundaries between the digital and physical world, incorporating elements such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, robotics, and real-time data processing. His interest in simple guidelines from which an infinite number of images or situations arise, which are never the same as before, is one of the key aspects of his creations.
Marko Batista is a Ljubljana-based experimental sound and intermedia artist. He graduated at the Ljubljana Academy of Fine Arts and Design and then completed his master’s degree at Central Saint Martins in
London. His work focuses on both performative intermedia practices and spatial audio-visual installations. He explores relationships within the field of spatial sound and the perception of sound experience in a
specific acoustic environment. He has presented his work at several festivals and galleries both at home and
abroad.
